My mother just had an aortic valve replaced 5 days ago. It was a scary time trying to research everything and find the best Dr for her. We chose Baylor heart hospital and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision. Everyone was friendly from the valet to the housekeeping. Nurses kept us updated during surgery and after care was impeccable. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone who needs heart surgery. I had my aortic valve replaced with a on-x valve and my aortic aneurysm repaired by Dr. William Brinkman on Sept 24th 2013 at Baylor Heart hospital in Plano (4 days after my 30th Birthday). I am very pleased with the quality of care I received from my surgeon as well as the nursing staff at the hospital. Don't go there. My family member went and had some cardiac troubles. They put off important surgeries until it was almost too late and then were trying to do needless surgeries. You can never find a nurse when you need one and they are mostly rude and don't listen to family when it matters. Stay away, there are many better hospitals for heart related issues in the DFW area.
Dr.Mack is a miracle worker and rest of the medical staff is thorough and very caring.People of Plano are lucky to have such a medical facility in their midst.
My husband went in there by ambulance, and we were very impressed with the staff and how well everything ran. They had a team effort and his needs and questions were answered and he saw a heart specialist within 2 hours. The hospital is fantastic, very well written and obviously the needs of the patient are first. I would highly recommend this hospital, their doctors and staff.
