Stay away from The Health Spot! I'd give them a 0 star rating if I could. I can't say enough how unprofessional they are. They're good at making promises and getting your hopes up, but failed to ever deliver. Their staff doesn't truly listen to what you're saying. I had been hopeful that their Biomeridian technology would provide some answers for me, but it can't really diagnose anything. This place is horrible the doctor I have had for 21 years moved to this facility and I will no longer see her because of this office!!!!

I came in for a routine physical to the Orem location. I got the physical, which included blood work. My insurance plan claimed that I'd owe a $60 copay for the visit. For the visit and the follow-up on my blood work, I got a bill of $195, with a claim that my insurance covered $50 for each of those visits. Then I got the bill for the blood work yesterday: $679, with a note saying that my insurance had rejected it. Doctor was horrible, He did not want to help me with my back pain recommended me to purchase things off Amazon and Groupon. Tried to sell me his supplements No empathy , Stay away from them waste of time.
If there was no star it would be more appropriate. I'm a very young college student trying to get my health figured out so that I can return to class. I found this location and decided to give it a try. I was told that genetic testing would be very helpful and that it's covered for now. I was also assured by the staff that even if I were to get a bill, in the case of it not being covered, that they would take care of it. My personal experience was a BAD one. This neuropathy treatment was to be a 6 week treatment plan, 3 visits per week for a total of 18 visits. I was told the treatment plan would cost $5,000. I was told Medicare would cover $4,000 of that plan. I would need to cover the other $1,000. After 5 visits I was told Medicare had refused to pay. The cost of the program was now revealed to be almost $10,000. The thought of the government buying $400 hammers flashed across my mind.
