Usually, when stepping into a Dr's office i'm pretty nervous! At the Healing Sanctuary, it was a whole other story! I was instantly welcomed and my fears and nervousness were gone. Before and at my first visit with RN Shelby during a screening for a clinical trial, she listened to my needs & Concerns. The atmosphere is very welcoming and full of positive energy. Finally! A place to heal the WHOLE person, with a focus on more than pill pushing and running patients like cattle through an office. The attitudes of the professionals and staff are refreshing and compassionate. The facility feels like a sanctuary, where you can find peace and answers. The entire place shares that attitude and I cannot reccommend them enough!
I felt like I was entering a sacred place, especially upon removing my shoes, on Monday when I went in for an appointment with Dr. Baker. Unlike other doctors I have seen, I feel so encouraged and uplifted just by the words Dr. Baker used. He looked me in the eye, he listened to me, he looked at me and not at the computer or chart. Dr Baker is a doctor that actually listens to you and works with you on treatment options. All of the staff is able to make you feel like you are in a caring environment. They always treat you with respect and are friendly and kind.
