This isn't just a place to buy a hat. You can see the hat being made and shaped. It's a real educational experience as well. Gary and the entire staff exhibit the patience of a saint as they answered all the questions of this novice. I'd recommend this store to anyone.

Gary is without a doubt the best hatter in the world !!! First you start off with the best of pure beaver hats like the American 500X then Gary will crease and shape it. The hat will look like it was factory creased in a mold because it is done to perfection. But it is a custom fitted and hand creased hat like no other! People like Lyle Lovett, Brooks and Dunn, and Meryl Haggard to name a few have ordered hats from Gary at the Hat Store.
