UPDATE: Well apparently there are new owners/management. However, I was sorry to see Colleen go. I went in today and voiced my concerns. They acknowleged my concerns and were quite nice. They actually walked me through new process/new application fairly quickly. It IS new company with new portal being established. Lived here for one year and during that year the people that made my overall experience living in the particularly worth it because of people like Colleen( property manger ) and Marcos( maintenance person). They were always there to help with whatever the community needs were. When I heard today, that upper management fired them with no notice. I was really sad and disappointed. *TRIGGER WARNING-Violence* If I could give this 0 stars I would. I moved into The Habitat apartments in September of 2025. Everything was great. Our land lady Colleen was excellent. I had 0 issues with maintenance and management issues. In early June I had one of my neighbors try to STAB ME. Yes, my neighbor of which I shared a wall with tried to stab me multiple times in my car. Applying to the Habitat Apartments has been a quick and seamless experience. From reviewing the ad on Zillow, to instantly getting an application, to getting approved within 72 hours, and being able to conveniently pay deposits online. From the start, Ms. Colleen has provided great communication, kindness, and a very welcoming presence—as has Marcos, the maintenance guy, who is always friendly, kind, and even treats our dogs to morning cookie treats—a small gesture we really appreciate. The Habitat Apartments have been an excellent move. Colleen was easy to work with in the office and went the extra mile to help us get approved. Our apartment needed a couple of fixes, but Carlos came immediately and resolved all of them. Even the letter carrier here is friendly…offering to check out address change and give our dog a treat! The atmosphere here is relaxed and friendly, and the nearby nature park has been a joy for our dog. I recommend this place highly!
