I’ve been training at The Gym Venice since 2020. I was born in 1964, so I suppose that gives me a little seniority. Together with my teenaged daughter, I have been a regular attender of The Gym's weekly Women's Strength Training class. Our instructor Shannon has created something I didn't know I needed: a pro-woman space to build strength and community. From exercise plans to song selections to the invitation to "thank our bodies for carrying us" during cool down, this time balances push with grace. Something this working mom appreciates greatly.
This gym is great. I had my first personal training ever here and I loved it. I got it all, nutrition and diet advice, body positivity, health goals, strength goals, and all of the trainers were able to work around my very specific weird injuries. Love it, totally recommend this place!
