Great Place to Live in Downtown Charleston The Guild is an amazing apartment in downtown Charleston. The location is superb for someone new to the area. The views from the 7th floor pool deck are stunningly and beautiful. The location is about a mile to a mile and half for the Harris Teeter grocery store, Target and Walgreens. Be aware of the price increase! I have loved living at The Guild. The apartment complex is amazing, the staff is super helpful and the location can't be beat. However, the 25% increase in the rent after the 1st year was a shocker and as I was told there is nothing you can do about it. So disappointing needless to say. For this reason I can't recommend living at The Guild anymore. So disappointing!
