Great food, great people. One of my favorite places to be.
Introduced 2 people new to BTV to The Gryph tonight. The scallops over asparagus did all the selling--now they are converts, too.
My daughter and I discovered this restaurant about a year ago. We ordered the fried green tomato BLT which was the best BLT we had ever tasted. We decided to return this year with her family, and of course, ordered the same sandwich. It was as good as we remembered. The service was great and the people were so friendly. They had a very good selection of beers which was very important to my daughter and her husband. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the Burlington area.
Atmosphere was excellent: a very quaint and intimate feel. Service was below average which surprised my wife and I because there are a small number of tables in the place (maybe 20) and there were 3 servers. However the excellent food more than compensated for the lackluster service ! I had the pierogies as an appetizer and the seafood grits for an entree . We had a lovely evening, good drink specials, seafood and steak dinners. The waitstaff were professional and enjoyable.
Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great foods & craft beer! Loved the beet salad, jalapeño poppers and seafood grits. We will go back there on our next visit!
