RecommendedPlacenta encapsulation was the best decision I have ever made. Never felt more restored and back to myself after pregnancy. Jessica came to my home and was as quiet as can be after we came back from the hospital to begin the encapsulation. I chose to have my placenta steamed to help digest the pills better. Any questions I had were always answered. Such thoughtful and professional individuals that work here. These pills truly made a difference in the postpartum process & I will do it again in the future!
I had a c-section with my first child and was determined to have a natural, unmedicated VBAC with my 2nd child. My husband and I decided to use Gini and Lisa halfway through my third trimester, and my only regret may be not reaching out and connecting with them sooner. They were both so helpful and supportive leading up to our son’s birth, but during labor, they were even better. What an amazing experience I had with growing place! From prenatal meetings to the actual delivery everybody was so attentive and informative . Both doulas are available on the phone at any point to answer all your questions and comfort you before your delivery. Gini, Jess and Lisa were great! I never met Lisa prior to my pushing phase because she was covering for my assigned doula, but from the time she walked to my room she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed- it seemed that I knew her for a long time . We hired the growing place to help us out with overnights after the birth of our twins. It was far and away the best decision we ever made as it gave my husband and I the rest we needed to get through the long days with our new twins and 2 year old son. Lisa and Jess were great with our babies and we were able to go to sleep with the peace of mind that they were being cared for to the highest extent. I would recommend them to any new parents of multiples or singletons that are looking for a little extra help!
It's been 8 months but I still reflect on how perfect the birth of my son was! It was a roller coaster but I wouldn't change anything. Definitely could not have done it without the support of Sarah and Lisa :) I wish we had consulted with them sooner so we could have enjoyed all of the prenatal services the Growing Place has to offer!
The good people of The Growing Place are amazing. I got to work with Sara, Lisa and Jess. I could not imagine getting through labor and delivery without their support. They knew my birth plan preferences and helped me achieve it while working in harmony with hospital doctors and staff. After baby and I came home I needed help and these amazing women showed up to help and guide baby and me through the early days at home.
