I have been to other nursing homes and this facility deserves more than five stars they have so many staff members to care for their patients that every time I needed help somebody was right there and they took the time to pronounce my name correctly and every time I would go to the dining hall and pass the staff member they always had a warm greeting like good morning "how are you, Zeynep '. My dad became a long-term care resident at The Grove in Jan '25 after bouncing around multiple rehab centers. I can't say enough nice things about the staff here. Their proactive approach and communication helps me sleep better at night. Most importantly, the entire team, from the social workers, to the physical therapists to the nurses, genuinely care about the residents.
I'm very sorry for doing a review earlier. I had just gotten to the Grove of Northbrook. I should have given myself a little more time here before doing a review. I feel sorry for a lot of the people here meaning residents. Some of the residents go around all day smelling like urine. I was very nice to these people. There was one incident that came up and all they had to do was wait for the second results of my test. But no they couldn't wait.
