So the food and service were good. Food portion sizes were small. Waiter steered me away from the tasting menu thinking it would be too much. I probably could have gobbled it all up no problem. Some of the menu items weren't to my liking (I hate mushrooms and aioli) but that's a "me" problem, not a "them" problem.
Amazing farm/garden to table. The outside patio has a great vibe. Service was great and loved the background story of the restaurant.
My wife ordered the Latka. The actual Latka was served in a very burnt state. I tried a bit and at best it was very dry. This was pointed out to the waitress who offered to have it re cooked. This offer was impractical as she would have been sitting there with no food whilst I had to eat mine. No offer of a bill reduction was made and we ended up paying full price for what was clearly a poorly cooked item. Cooking a Latka is a very easy ask. We had breakfast/brunch at The Grove at Copia, and it was excellent! We sat outside in the patio area, which is an amazing atmosphere. It was cool and relaxing. The food and service were both fantastic. My wife had the mushroom tartine, which is kinda like avocado toast but with truffle ricotta and mushrooms on top. It was yummy. the hostess was rude and took a while to seat us even though she had seen us come in. The food was overpriced for what it is. Many items were flavorless and needed to have salt and pepper added.
