My doctor recommended this place for therapy but student therapists are very unprofessional. First they deleted all my signed paperworks and made me sign everytime some regulations and delete everytime I finish it. Then after our intake my student therapist Alyan haven’t replied for a week just to say that I’m denied of their service as they aren’t equipped for the kind of services I’m looking for. And they don’t accept insurances. Just don’t go here and look for what your insurance can provide for your counseling needs.
I used to love the Grownowski Center and would constantly recommend this place to friends and family who needed affordable therapy. I’ve had good student therapists throughout my time here. However, recently I was rejected by Grownowski center due to some concerns about my past eating disorder. I’m really grateful I have been able to attend therapy here, and have been going on a weekly basis for five months. I saw Colten, who is graduating soon- and I will probably be discontinuing my sessions afterwards. I’ve learned a lot about myself, and how to better handle strong feelings and emotions.
