Our family of 5 (with 3 young kiddos) stayed here in 2023 for Christmas for 7 glorious days. World class pool. This is one of the classiest establishments we have ever stayed. A shout out to Rachel and Julie who attended to our every whim. William was a wonderful and patient waiter at the restaurant. The Santa Clause they hire every year for the kids was kind and thoughtful with our youngest daughter who is 6. He asked her questions that made her think during story reading. The hotel was shutting down in a couple weeks for renovation. This is still no excuse for limited service and lack of customer service at the restaurant. The current website for Amanda’s says “Restaurants are open to both Aman guests and non-residents” we made a special drive up to the property with the intention of enjoying a night cap at the Grill. We also noticed they lack the ability the keep the lounge clean as there was stale food and glasses that looked to have been sitting out for some time. Impending remodel or not ... read more
