About this business

Akin to a barcade which is a blend of arcade games and draft beers, The Grid: Games and Growlers is much more that that and opened its doors to gamers in 2015. The brainchild of Matthew Robbins, Michael Goosens and Bryan Young who wanted a place for their interests, this futuristic retro themed bar and arcade is an amazing place to play your favorite video games. Take a pint from any of their 15 beers on tap, nosh on tasty bites, enjoy a console game or listen to live Synthwave or underground music concerts.

Food showed up lukewarm for my friend, my girlfriend, and myself. Manager was nasty to customers and sneered at my girl for ordering a side of bacon. Kitchen was visibly in gross condition, there were not enough people on bar to manage the crowd. Food here was gross. I didn’t expect too much but the wings’ sauce was comparable to unsalted butter and food coloring instead of “orange hot”. Pickle chips were okay. Fish and chips looked like it was from Walmart and tasted of next to nothing. Game selection was what you would ima... read more

I use to love this place it was my favorite spot to go. However I had to stop going for a while but when I was able to go again I invited a few friends to come with me. Coincidently myself and all my friends that came had our card numbers stolen!! It was the only place we all had in common. I had went in the next day to let them know. I was told they would look into it and give us a call. I left my info and it has been 2 weeks and still no call! When I had went there at the time I only knew about 2 cards I later found out it... read more

This place is awesome. They support the local art and music scene when ever they are able. They are a beacon for the local nerd community.

Even being away from Arizona for a year, I still think of this place often. It's the best, best drinks, best games, best staff. My husband and I miss it very much, we wish we could open a place like this where we are now.
