Very old apartment community in need of major renovations. Appliances and systems are unreliable. My air conditioner has been out for 4 days now. They are not forthcoming about when it will be repaired. They replaced the capacitor, took a quick video and called the repair complete. 10 minutes later the unit was not functioning again. This place is awful ?? the office staff is unprofessional and rude the manager needs to be fired. I was forced into an apartment I didn't want, with threats of forfeiting my deposit. I bought the apartment and when I went in for inspection it reeked of cat oder and paint splatter is every where. Mold is on my balcony ,the washing machine is full of cat hair and it leaks, there is cat hair under my cabinets. Maintenance has been in twice and they have yet to replace my sink cabinet that's broken. I have the highest apartment in their complex and I do expect my money's worth. Please help me. I been living here for 2 years never been behind on rent. In May I got behind on rent due to losing my job. I have a son with health problems. So I filled out and got approved for assistance and they wouldn't sign the agreement. This is ridiculous you have the money but you sign the paperwork.
Bad Management,Problems like Mold for 6 months in air ventilation,LACK OF ADEQUATE LIGHTING CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY in stair well, Leaks under sinks ... been at the Links a yr they never missed a payment of 790 a month and even when covid made us all sick they still got us for a late fee for being 1 day late. When my daughter tried to reapply for a 1 br , from a 2 br due to my having to move because of the mold ... Terrible issues with this place ... ALL DUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT.... MOLD... leaks ... no lighting in stairwells.. UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY HOMELESS DO NOT LIVE HERE .... and if you do ... by the time they are done with you .. you would almost rather be homeless, you may fair better . I am only giving them one star because you have to select that to do a review. This complex is SCAMMING the university students and getting away with it. They will tell you to your face that they will get you an apartment by your required date and if they don't that your application fee is fully refundable. Then, when they do not get you an apartment in time, they keep your money and tell you it was always non-refundable.
