I couldn't have been more disappointed by my visit a few days ago. I took my Mom for the first time and she was already hesitant, as she is not vegetarian and has never been to a vegetarian restaurant before. She ordered french toast and I ordered the happy cow breakfast sandwich. 40 MINUTE WAIT for those two simple dishes and the restaurant wasn't even very busy. Food is great. So many delicious vegan dishes. I've order many and would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. When we go to green owl I know I will always get a delicious vegan meal at a reasonable price served by competent, happy wait staff.

While planning a visit to Madison, we were excited to find an all vegetarian & vegan restaurant. They were incredibly busy and admitted they were short-staffed the night we were there. Even so, we were seated right away and our food came out fairly quickly considering how busy they seemed to be. Well, there was the avocado stem found in the wrap that did not have avocado after waiting over an hour. There's the bread so stale on another sandwich that I had to ask if it was toasted... You get the idea. Downhill tumble for the Green Owl. Was told the owners threw new people in the kitchen without much training.
