While our most enjoyable experiences eating at the restaurant have been late at night when the usually noisy, kid-filled space is more manageable, our chief interactions with GG have been eating their wonderful takeout pizza. We like a particular kind of chewy, slightly charred crust, and the toppings suit our tastes exactly. We love barbecue on pizza, and I particularly like fruit on mine. Love this place! It has excellent food and great service! I Love the Baja Tacos. But sometimes I like to try their specials. They also have terrific Drinks.
Fish tacos 🌮 were awesome. Loved the location , right off the Roanoke Greenway. Parked the bike in the rack and enjoyed a lovely lunch. Loved seeing dogs welcomed on the outdoor deck seating area .
I enjoy the food always - the service is hit or miss depending on who you get. My main reason for leaving a review is that they bring your drinks with straws already in them. Straws are horrible for the environment, please don’t assume your patrons want one, and if they do, I doubt they want them touched by the waitstaff.
I went there around 3pm today, and I ordered a triple fudge brownie sundae and noticed that it tasted like spoiled milk. I couldn't finish it, because I became nauseous and felt really sick. I wasn't sure who to talk to about everything, so I just paid my tab and left. Here I am, hours later still feeling sick. I cannot speak on the rest of the food. But I wouldn't recommend any of the ice cream. I do not have a lactose intolerance, because no other ice cream has made me feel sick. But the Dr. Pepper was good.
Despite a bad experience last visit when you opened, and all the recent poor reviews, we decided to go to lunch today. We sat for about 6 minutes with a server walking past before we decided to go somewhere else. Everyone seemed miserable and apathetic except the hostess. Won’t return
Didn’t care for the food. The waitress wasn’t very good. Both our orders were wrong. Don’t think I’ll be going back to this establishment.
Loved this place! Just moved to Roanoke and heard it was imperative that I try this place out. So, we did. AMAZING!! Great food, atmosphere and service. Our waiter was Charles and he did an OUTSTANDING job!! Ask for him if you visit there. I will definitely be going back... many times over!!
