I have been frequenting this shop for years. I have been met with kindness, warmth and acceptance from the minute I walk in. The community needs more businesses like this that support one another, uplift and bring everyone together. Not to mention how active they are in the community with giving back. If you want a good conversation, a safe space and delicious coffee, look no further than the bean!
My favorite coffee shop downtown! Luckily a few steps from my work. Absolutely love their chai and the staff always make you feel so welcome when you come in. Always my top spot to recommend to folks coming to York. Love the Green Bean!!

I came here to leave a review since grabbing an latte earlier today. I saw some other customer reviews about the Law enforcement flag in the window (there was a recent, tragic, incident in which local county police officers lost their lives, so it made sense) and was astounded by the negativity.
