Satisfactory The ambiance here is really fantastic, but the food was just okay. It was not a restaurant that I felt the need to go back to time and time again, but wasn't exactly a bad experience either.
Nice Italian, reasonable price I went to a business dinner at Great Impasta and was very impressed with the food. They had a good selection of traditional Italian foods and a comparable wine list. My only complaint is overwhelming amount of meat on the menu - more difficult selection as a vegetarian.
Great Impasta is good, not great. I was at the Great Impasta once. It was good, but not fantastic. The place was really nice and there is parking near by. The staff was very friendly.

Shameful degradation of past(a) standards I have been there for lunch recently. I used to be a happy customer of the restaurant, in the old Champaign location. They used to have good, homey, tasty food. Nothing of that is left, the memories barely. My girlfriend tried a vegetable salad with tuna [not a tuna salad], as per the description.
