The food is amazing and the portions won’t make you feel like a glutton.

The barbecue was good. Good but not amazing. And certainly not on par with 4Rivers. The red hair gentleman was a sweetheart. The one star review is for the grey haired gentleman with the black rimmed glasses who literally stole my beer that was half full out of my hand while smiling to my face. He said “oh, can I see that for you”, and reached his hand out for my beer, as he put it in the sink, he said “let me know what I can pour for you here”. We had Mother's Day Brunch and our group was big enough that we had almost everything offered for this special event. All the food was excellent and the staff were delightful! Highly recommend!

I wasn't impressed with the food for how much it costs. Had the STL Pork Ribs with burnt ends baked beans, bread, and bread and butter pickles. The ribs were dry and tough. The baked beans were decent though. Loved the bread. I liked the decor (simple, classic, rustic) and the staff was helpful and friendly. We went right at the end of their lunch period as they were switching to their dinner menu so no one was there which was great. I intend to save that fifth star for the next time I go back.
