I would never come here again. We waited over 3 hours for our dinner and it wasn’t even flavorful. Staff was saying that there wasn’t enough people in the back cooking, the gentleman who was sitting next to us went back to the kitchen to help cook on his day off. The couple who sat next to us told us they had been waiting for their food since 6...it was 9 when they finally left without dessert, (which was part of the Valentine’s Day menu).

Food here is so pretentious, you can get so much better quality stuff in san antonio’s classic spots like texas pride for 1/3 of the price and its such a more delicious experience. Also my scallops ( i dont know why we ordered that, just assuming it would be good ) were super fishy and the chicharron is just like walmart fries pork skin with valentina sauce. The chef has to experience real chicharron from PR or colombia if he is going to charge almost 10 bucks for this. Super disappointed, shouldn’t be in texas top 50.

Service was great! We had lunch. I had a pulled pork sandwich with buttermilk Cole slaw. We sat by the windows and watched the world go by. Beautiful old home! Hope to return next time we’re in town. Loved it😍

I rarely take time to leave poor reviews but this was worth it. My husband and I visited on a Tuesday evening and had our sleeping one year old in a small travel stroller. When I asked if we had to be seated the hostess rudely said yes. I explained it’s changed since I was last there and wasn’t sure. Then the hostess asked us if we planned on staying with our stroller? She then made it seem like we were a super inconvenience and even mentioned “the stroller will be in the way”. Honestly, there was two other small tables ther... read more
