The Brisket Ramen is hands down the most complex and delightful I have ever had. The smoked shoyu coupled with the Ale Noodles are a nice blend of starchy and savory, only to be trumped by the insane brisket, poached egg delight, and sweet collard green. Are you kidding me? I have never had a collard green that sweet and perfect. Thank you Granary chefs and staff for the awesome experience.
Coming from the two best places for barbecue Georgia and North Carolina I was worried :) But for nothing the barbecue here is excellent and the beer selection wonderful!
Only the best barbecue I've had. And the home brewed root beer was pretty amazing as well. Despite the fact that the German potato salad is nothing like real German potato salad (I lived in Germany for 3 years), it was tasty and well worth ordering. I can't say enough about the food, and coupled with the historic building and generally smooth atmosphere, it's a must-visit in San Antonio.
Go. Just go. Totes excellent! Got the cue plate with 3 meats and sadly couldn't finish it.
Be BBQ in SA! Ran across this place last year. On of the best I've ever been to!
I love the pastrami barbecue. Its my favorite. One of the better joints in town.
