When we ordered around 9:30, they had run out of practically everything on the menu. Not a single dessert! Very disappointing.

Great BBQ, and perfect sweet tea to go with it! Pulled pork sandwich is a must!

My wife are "certified barbecue judges" thru KCBS. (No big deal except we judge a LOT of barbecue). We travel all over the upper Midwest judging pro level competitions. We came to Texas to taste the local meats. Been to the famous (Franklin in Austin, not at all impressed), the out-of-the-way pit barbecue (Coopers in Llano, liked it, especially the steak), the shabby (City Market in Luling, upset my stomach), and at least a dozen others this road trip. The Clod was really good and I really liked the pulled pork sliders. My mom liked her brisket sandwich. Live Oak Beers on tap is a nice bonus. The Buttermilk Pie was a nice finish.

We ate lunch there on Saturday and it was awesome. I had the brisket and was one of the better experiences I have ever had. The brews were great as well, sampling is allowed to help make selection simple. Awesome staff and will eat there again.

25 Nov 16, The manager was very unprofessional and lacked customer service skills. I'm a resident of the Can Plant and will not be coming back to this locations. His service at the bar and tone was unacceptable. I would walk down to Down on Grayson for the food and better customer service.

When we walked in we were asked if we had reservations. The entire restaurant was empty. We ordered a BBQ board which consisted of 3 small slices of brisket a sausage link baked beans, potatoe salad. $18.00. The brimstone was good but the sausage tasted gamey.
