Off tha chain, excellent. I got to sit at the bar right next to the kitchen and watch all the food going out. Good food, good beer and good people. Everyone was having fun while working, I'll definitely go back next time I'm in San Antonio. A-MAZINGLY GOOD EATIN....DEFINITELY GOING BACK! THE FOOD, TEA, ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT
This is one of my favorite restaurants for upscale food in a casual atmosphere, I've been taking out of town guests and family for years and it's always requested on second visits! I noticed several negative comments that seemed to be based on a lunch experience, and this is NOT a lunch restaurant in my opinion. If you want a great dinner in a casual atmosphere (communal seating, no dress code) with mid range pricing, this is definitely the place to go!
Great place! Make reservations, as this place is actually very small. But it's worth it. The food is fabulous.
We went thinking the special was a tri tip sandwich. We got there t find out that their website was incorrect, and the menu was entirely too expensive for the food received. If you like smoke and expensive food, this is the place. Also be prepared for "communal seating".... On the flip side, our waiter, Rob, was very courteous and helpful.
