Hats off to the staff of this hotel they truly make it worthwhile. My wife and I encountered a conflict with our booking and Benzina upgraded our room and gave us a complemtry bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. These accomodations were made without any friction or need to discuss compensation for inconvenience. The room was wonderful, clean and conveniently located in the townhouse next to the main building. This is my second stay at the Graham Hotel in Georgetown, Washington, DC, and unfortunately I experienced the same concerning issue both times. On each visit, I checked in during the afternoon, left my belongings in the room, and went out for dinner for about two hours. When I returned, it appeared that someone, had entered my room without my permission. This was not during housekeeping hours, and no cleaning had been done. My trash was still in the bin. Great location!! We never stayed at the hotel, but we came for drinks and apps on the rooftop and were so disappointed. Our server was so dismissive of us. She told us their rail was casamigos so that’s what we ordered and it was their top shelf. We wanted to order food but she took our drinks and never came back. I have been a bartender/server for 10 years and I never complain because I know how it gets, but it was a rainy Sunday and completely empty yet she couldn’t care less about us being there.
