Not a place to go. Very un-accommodating. Stay away.
First time there. The sign at the entrance telling people no hate allowed is great. Friendly service from the bartenders and doorman. The only downside was when someone was smoking right by the door and the smoke made its way inside.
Tell the stringy blonde haired guy with a clowny trucker hat to go back to south cali and catch some douchy waves brah...

Seems he was looking out for you and your friends' best intentions at 145a. I'd think that someone who works in the industry for our neighbors and friends down the street you'd appreciate that. Not really sure what's "douchy" about waves except for they're water, they're wet, and they are cleansing. Carry on, fella. Nice hat BTW.
