Many locals spend the waning hours of their weekend at The Globe, watching soccer games, Bears games, or just talking over drinks in a corner. Living up to its name, The Globe brings in an eclectic group ranging from working class residents from the Rogers Park neighborhood to Lincoln Park yuppies. Even during Bears playoff games there is ... read more

Under newer management and the bar has gotten a bit of a facelift, which is great. Same great beer selection and the menu has gotten a polish too, the food is great. Every meal has been delicious.
Business response:
Thanks, Nathan!
Exceptional service, wonderful atmosphere, extensive beer selection, and tasty food! What more could one ask for at a pub. Keep an eye out for Jon; he is amazing and provides excellent service at the bar.
Business response:
Thanks Alfredo! We think Jon is pretty great too!
Best place to watch soccer, drink good beer and eat excellent food. Hands down one of the most cozy places in Chicago. Waiters, bartenders and other staff understand the importance of good customer service and the itself keeps me coming back
Business response:
Thank you, Ivan! We really appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you, Eleni!
Picked the wrong sports bar to begin a futbol tradition w/ my 13yr old. After watching so many games w/ him there in the past, we woke up early just to be arbitrarily rejected and then was sent off to another bar that was closed...never again
Business response:
Miguel, our apologies but it has always been our policy to not allow anyone under the age of 21 in for El Clasico or other big matches such as Champions League final, World Cup final, etc. It's clearly stated on our website, on social media and anyone who called was told it is 21+ for the match. Additionally, we reached capacity 15 minutes before kick off, and anyone who arrived after that point was turned away. Again, our apologies that this ruined your morning, that was certainly not our intention.
