The atmosphere and salon itself is quite nice but this place is overhyped. The talent does not reflect the high rating - you aren’t guaranteed a quality haircut. The owners have weird energy in trying to create an exclusive environment or experience but that just is not what they created. It’s subpar experiences for inflated prices that a complimentary tea does not make up for.
After a hair disaster that happened elsewhere I was in a panic. I went in for a consultation with Teagan and she perfectly and confidently executed the correction the next day! The team let me know the risks and what to expect and it turned out better than I ever could have expected! I am very thankful and Teagan has earned a new client!
I’m very disappointed, I went in here on 2nd October for a haircut, asked for layers and maybe curtain bangs. My hair is uneven, one side has shorter hair than the other, it looks awful. I was visiting Saskatoon so decided to get a haircut to feel better about myself but ended up with uneven hair. I paid $400 and asked Brittany for a specific color, but she couldn’t deliver it. Instead of fixing it, she called her manager and booked me again for another appointment. After wasting an additional 5 hours in the salon, I still didn’t get the color I wanted—my hair looked exactly the same as my natural color. This was an absolute waste of money and time. Very unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
I had such a great experience with Andrea at The Glam Bar! She did an amazing job with my haircut — she really listened to what I wanted, gave helpful suggestions, and the end result was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend Andrea.
