Lived here for a little over 2 years, absolutely loved my corner unit. Jasmine at the front desk was the best to have around, I could always count on her. The building does a good amount of events for the residents which was nice to get to know neighbors. Truthfully my only complaint was how often the fire alarm went off due to smoke from people cooking. Graystar staff on 3rd floor also helped me out where they could each time along with the maintenance team and all other staff in the building. 4.5 really
I have lived at the Girard for 5 years and have always been greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Highly recommend this building!
I really wanted to love living here, but my experience has been overshadowed by the constant noise issue (video) that has been keeping me and my family awake at night After reporting the problem, maintenance informed us that it is a known issue affecting units in this part of the building and is likely related to the HVAC system, ductwork, or piping. Mixed feelings, overall the building is very nice, nice amenities, and very well kept (you can always find something being cleaned)! 1. Touring process wasn’t the most organized, was told to go upstairs to meet a leasing agent. They were not up there to meet me. They also forgot that we had a tour scheduled. 2. Move-in, they have it very planned out and show you where to go. However if you are moving yourself, it is a bit of a hike from where you can park a truck to getting to the actual apartments.
