Arrive early to make it through the museum without missing anything. The views from the terraces and the gardens are amazing.

Breathtaking view. Love this place
The place is great, it is spacious and offers astonishing views to the whole LA area. As a museum I did not find anything very special compared to other art museums, but wonderful overall experience.
The art collection is divided between the buildings by time period, and the Getty’s collection of eighteenth-century French decorative arts is especially renowned.
Great views. Tram ride is fun. Gardens are beautiful.
Plan on early arrival for good parking in garage. Museum entry is free but parking is $15. Tour guides are excellent and helpful. Look for children's activities which are also excellent.
