Always enjoy a trip to The Gap Deli. Great food. Love their meatloaf sandwich and their chicken and dumpling soup, but everything I've eaten there has been very tasty!
I have been there on several occasions and have found the food wonderful. I love to have pintos when I visit as theirs are the most like my mother's. I do have one suggestion. Please make your cornbread without sugar as the sugar makes the cornbread like cake rather than as a meal addition. Also, please keep some yellow or white onions around for your pinto-eating crowd. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat, very nice food and nice staff.
I had the brunch this morning and it was wonderful. Bacon and egg on croissant, perfectly cooked with fresh fruit and yogurt topped with homemade granola! Highly recommend!
Fantastic sandwiches! I always try to stop here for a bite whenever I am riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have never been disappointed!
