RecommendedYes my husband and I were pleased with taste and presentation. We didn't have reservations but showed up on a Saturday at 5:00. We were offered 2 different open tables. The staff was courteous. The cost is alittle pricey but well worth it. Nice wine selection too. My husband and I are long time supporters of Fish Hopper in Monterey, the Galley may be our new restaurant of choice.

It’s a rare find: a pricey pier restaurant that is worth the price. We had a view of the bay and Morro Rock at 5:30pm in Saturday with out a reservation. Granted to the table was in the back, but I prefer to be out of the main dining room busyness. Service was great. Food was delicious. We started with a ceviche, followed by locally caught rockfish. All perfectly cooked down to the “candied” acorn squash garnish. I would definitely return to try some of the other food.
A great place. Mitch was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!
We are never disappointed. Love the view of the water and Morro Rock with the otters swimming in the bay. Whether you have lunch or dinner it’s always delicious.
Best ribeye I’ve ever had. Service was professional and personal. Welcomed like we were friends, instead of first timers.
