We had the best time at the Gables Bed and Breakfast! Jeanette and Cesar were great hosts. Their attention to detail- from the decorations around the house to yummy breakfast- made our stay an experience we’ll never forget. It was great connecting with fellow guests of all ages (26-60+) at breakfast, a rare opportunity to interact with random people in this fast-paced, digital world. We spent the weekend at The Gables in August and loved it. It’s a beautifully restored Victorian home in a quaint Philadelphia neighborhood. The collection of period items that adorn the rooms and common areas are amazing. Steeping in the door is like stepping into the past. The food and hospitality were excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing hospitality in a gorgeous Victorian mansion. I selected the South Room for my 14-year-old daughter and I. It is so beautifully decorated as is the rest of the home. Every room - including the common areas - is impeccably decorated with delightful antiques. The front covered porch is a place for rest and relaxation. The innkeepers made us feel like welcomed guests the moment we booked our reservation. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home.

Cesar and Jeannette were extremely hospitable and friendly. We were so grateful to Cesar for accommodating our need for very early breakfasts so that we could get to an event and an early train. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the comfortable and completely quiet air conditioning. We would absolutely recommend The Gables.
