We loved it. It is a beautiful restaurant serving delicious and interesting food and wine. Our server was excellent and professional. A great night at an amazing treasure.
Very disappointed. I was there about 15 years ago and it was excellent. We were offered a red snapper dinner special; when we ordered it the waiter than said it was monk fish but prepared the same way. It was a very dry tasteless piece of fish with 2 tablespoons of the sauce it was supposed to be prepared in. The gnocchi dish was also bland with no sauce. The best place in NJ. Creative menu... every dish is a unique experience.
This is quite possibly the best restaurant I have eaten in since returning from Italy. The food is always fresh, no detail is overlooked, and the vegetables make me want to skip dessert because they're so delicious. (I don't actually skip dessert, because that's also delicious.) The service is excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. If you only visit one restaurant in New Brunswick, make sure it's this one.

The bread is amazing. Foods really good too. But that bread. Girlfriend said it's worth it just for the bread alone.
