My martini arrived 1/2 full. Sent message and was told that I would receive a gift card. Did not arrive, so I send a message again with no response.
Pretty fair service on New Years Eve for lunch. Waited for the hostess to get organized. She didn’t greet us either. Poor quality food, sent burger back for being very rare, black beans in two different servings of cole slaw( manager smiled and said it’s by nacho station so they fall in) and.... the booth we sat in was surrounded by dirty finger prints. The second (remade burger ) was supposed to have mustard and instead tasted like tarragon...... weird & soggy onion rings, I’ll stick to beer when I’m there!
3 members of a party of 7 developed food poisoning on Dec. 30th. I notified the Freehouse the next day and was told that they would be making a report to the CDC and I would get a call. No call and when I checked with the CDC, 3 days later, I found out they did not file a report! Now I am mad! I understand things can happen but I spent a considerable amount of money only to have my husband's birthday and NYE ruined. A friend recommend this place for quality of breakfast food. I was not dissapointed. Not your typical breakfast place. Food is amazing and staff is very attentive. Love this place and will come back when I am back in Minneapolis.

I booked The Freehouse for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Michelle was so on top of everything and easy to work with, the food was amazing, our servers were fantastic, and it all just went so smoothly! We booked the Vorstead Room for about 60 people for the welcome, and it was a great venue for it.
Food was great, drinks were great, service was great! The only complaint I have is, the Valet, who was very kind and helpful, should get a heater. It is Minnesota and he works hard. you charge $10 for tater tots, I think you could give the man a heater.
