There are some good people here at least when I went through program twice back 2012-2014. Again met a few great people there and I am still friends with many of the people I met here to this day. However now that I have 6 years off opiates I see the extreme problems this 'ministry' has. Beyond the many ways I am sure they are using this place as a massive tax shelter to rack in millions a year off the backs of the people desperate for help, they also have no real addiction structure to the program other than glorified bible... read more
Used them once before, and everything went smoothly, no problems. I had a bunch of brand new things that I didn’t need both times and really really loved this nonprofit and what they stood for, and wanted to donate so badly even if it meant dropping it off. But you can SCHEDULE a PICKUP, so that’s what I did this next time. We are getting ready for an upcoming move and The Foundry has picked up donations at our home twice. Both times our Donation Specialist was Tremaine Perry. Tremaine and the man with him were the most pleasant and professional people I have dealt with in a long time. They worked quickly and efficiently, were polite and Tremaine kept the biggest, most infectious smile on his face. If you have items to donate, I highly recommend calling the Foundry!
The current reviews are no good. "The Foundry" (Bessemer AL) through Jesus Christ has saved many lives and families. And like many rehabs, you get back what you put into it. I owe my life to "the Foundry". They are not racist, bigots or anything else. Through the the teaching of Jesus Christ the Foundry saves lives.
