One the entertainment gems of the southeast. This stately and intimate theater gives you a chance to be close and feel the performance! The acoustics are terrific and there's not a bad seat in the house. We've seen dozens of shows here including Jennifer Nettles, Firefall, Little River Band, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi and many more. Best news yet... A new friendlier and less expensive ticketing system goes into place July 1st - bye bye Ticketmaster and yellow better prices :-)

Beautiful theatre built in 1927. My filled could have come here during WW II from my birth place at Camp Blending. Small seats but I'm 6'3"and 250. Worth every penny and trip from Tallahassee. A Night With Janis Joplin! I'd come back tomorrow if I could.

The seating space is so limited...not sideways necessarily, but knee room! It was very difficult to just stand up straight out of the seats! I also had great difficulty seeing the stage performance due to the seating space in front of me that were GREAT SEATS! Please improve the quality of enjoyment of viewing or you've lost me....

Pathetic venue. Understaffed bar and bathrooms were way too small. Very poor showing for such a nice building. Approximately 75 people waiting in line for drinks on each side.

So just left the Florida Theater after being kicked out by one of their "security guards" felt threatened by two gay guys dancing and having a good time watching Southside Johnny - while other people were dancing in front of the stage he felt threatened because we dared to do the same - I will NEVER step foot in there again
