Although The Floating Restaurant in Hope has been a local landmark for over 35 years, 2015 marks the biggest change since our new marina in 1997.A completely rebuilt venue offers a beautiful new dining room, modern lounge and an always popular, covered patio. We still offer great outdoor patio seating for the sun lovers and those who prefer to get just a little closer to the lake.

This place is a beautiful place! We had the Fish and Chips. Zero flavor! The Cole Slaw was really bad. About 1/2 way through our meal I found a hair in our tarter sauce. We brought it to the attention of our server and she seemed disturbed. We waited for about 25 minutes assuming she or a manager would come see us. Finally she came by with our bill and asked if we wanted desert . Seriously?! Really poor service to let this just slip by. We paid without leaving a tip. RecommendedI love the Floating Restaurant at Hope. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is awesome and you can’t beat the view of Lake Pend Orielle. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday! Yummy food, awesome waitress, fun atmosphere and in an absolutely beautiful setting!!
We ate here last week and it was a highlight of our holiday! The service was amazing (thanks Katie!). The food was fresh and delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing sunset. They even have blankets for diners to use when the sun goes down!!!! Will definitely be back. Excellent experience.

Hello Everyone and Happy Spring. (I know it's springlike somewhere.) The Floating Restaurant in Hope will be opening for the season April 19, just in time for Easter. This will be my 30th year of operating The Floater!! It's been such a crazy, exciting and rewarding ride.
