After visiting the Irish Potato famine monument across the street I went in The Flat Iron and had a delicious moist black bean burger with fries while watching a huge “Sam Laud” ship slowly float by. My Ma talked about how she used to eat there with my grandma about 40 years ago. The people and food there are awesome plus the view is lovely! I plan on going back.
The family has been coming here for 3 generations. Good food and drink and everyone is always so nice.
Good grub! Our glasses were never empty! Fast hot food! Our server was friendly and chatty, well done!
It’s the place to be before all CLE sporting events!!!
really good food and friendly service first time I ever ate there I would come back
Clam Chowder was excellent!!! Service was friendly. Great location if your are traveling between banks. Municipal parking across street, credit card only for $3.00. Limited spots but worth a try.
We love going down there and go at least a couple of times a year. Angel's perch dinners are delicious. We have not been disappointed in anything that we have ordered. The Atmosphere is great and the Staff is friendly.
Flat Iron Cafe - Has been around since 1912 according to bar keep. My best memory was attending a steak roast on a Monday night before a Browns / Steelers game on, of coarse, Monday Night Football! I am thinking mid-to-late 80's. Then, after dinner, we rode the Goodtime (could have been 'One' back then) to the stadium for the game and then we were picked up by the Goodtime back to the Flat Iron after the game. Oh... the Browns won! The good ol' days!
Great Food..Awesome Staff...
