Great little pub with tremendous food at a reasonable price. Very nice staff. If you get a chance to stop during the day make sure you sit at the bar and chat w Bobby the bartender about sports.
The experience at the Flat Iron is always over the top. The service is always good, the food is over the top so hard to decide what to get because... never had a bad meal. The other great experience is going to a game in Cleveland and they drive you after your done dinning no worries about the traffic or parking. This place definitely a 5 star!
Great food, fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. My favorite spot in the city!
Flat Iron Cafe Great place for lunch or dinner while in Downtown Cleveland. Good selection of wine. Good service and a great menu. Cant be beat for a quick lunch or for entertaining clients.
Real and renowned, an off-the-beaten-path Irish haunt that you'll wish had talking walls. – The Scene Billing yourself as an authentic Irish pub is a tricky business in this town, a little like declaring that you're the guy who hates Art Modell most. But the Flat Iron certainly has the pedigree. Good Perch – We like the Iron before Saturday Tribe games. PROS:3 of 4 of us always enjoy the big portions of fried perch, the 4th usually goes for pasta/burger with just a few complaints over past decade. It's easy to get in and out of this portion of the flats, I head down on Eagle Ave, to Columbus, to Canal, I think. The free patron shuttle bus to the Tribe game or to the Brownies is convenient. CONS The location needs a higher police presence, my friend had a windshield smashed in across the street when it was a free lot... read more
Flat is the Key Word – I'm glad this place had a decent atmosphere, because it has little else going for it. The service was very slow even though they were not crowded. Then the waitress managed to mess up two of our orders. The fish and chips platter was grossely overpriced at $15.99 and the fries were burned and the fish tough. Appetizers were so-so. I would recommend this place for a couple of nice Irish beers, but don't bother eating.
