Had dinner there Friday night then for breakfast Sunday I did the Brunch Buffet both were great ~ you can also order off the menu on Sunday!
Food was good and had reasonable prices. A short wait but it was worth it. Farmville has a limited amount of venues to eat out with your family. This is one of them.
Favorite spot to eat when we make it out to Farmville and Rice. Come just about everytime we visit my grandparents graves at Jamestown Presbyterian Church �. Plus, there's some family ties. Recommend for everyone to go!
I was pleasantly surprised. I had not been back there since it switched from the Hitchin Post to The Fish N Pig. Then I won a gift certificate to there from 92.9 Kickin Country. I had a BBQ sandwich with fried green tomatoes. They were the best of both I have ever had. Our server was wonderful! Her name is Jullie. We will definitely ask for her to serve us again in the future. Definitely recommended if you haven't tried their food yet! You will be back.

Stopped on advice from friend. Bbq the best I've had in sometime.stop if your in the area yiu won't be disappointed.
Excellent cat fish, that is half price on thursdays, and the music is great.
Have been here several times! A group of us will ride our motorcycles from around Lynchburg to eat here. Bar B Q and fish are both excellent. Great service every time. Have had Ashley as our waitress several times and she always gets it right!! Outstanding place.
I had passed The Fishin' Pig numerous times and there was always a crowd. (usually lunch time on weekends) Well, we decided to stop and it was a real treat. The service was prompt, but not rushed. We were expecting a Southern Style Buffet, but hoped that it wasn't. and it did not disappoint us. Brisket tacos and a 1/2 pound burger were ordered. There were numerous sides to choose from. Baked beans and collards were our sides of choice (one choice per meal). We will stop again!!!
