Ambiance and deliciousness! – Fabulous! Every aspect of The Fish is impeccable. Being a traveler and living in NYC, I know good food and this is great! We tried a little of everything on the menu and everything was amazing. Do not miss out on the "Hot Rock" - it is the most delicious (and fun!) kobe/angus beef you will ever try. Not so much I really was not impressed with this place at all. The environment is nice but the food was very overpriced and not that great. If you do check it out be prepared for very small rolls and very high prices.
Sundays ! – GREAT happy hour on sundays, all day! They have a $3.00 all day you call it! We had a great time! Oh, great sushi too !
Fantastic lunch! – Have you tried this sushi location for lunch? I went to this sushi restaurant yesterday for a business appointment and found the booth that we sat in to have a nice large square we could spread out in while working AND eating sushi! The service was impeccable! The bento box looked like a food shot out of a magazine and the sushi and tempura tasted even better! Tied for best sushi – This place, in my opinion, is tied with Tei Tei for the best sushi in Dallas. It's food is siimply GREAT, service is pretty damn good.
Very Good Sushi This is a very good and cool sushi fish restaurant. They have a huge aquarium behind the bar, and the decor is great. All the sushi we had was very good, and we enjoyed the service. It is moderately price, and my wife and I spent $80+/- including food and beers. Overall, I though it was very good.
YUMMY!! – After reading the review in the Dallas Morning News, I had to try it out for myself. Hidden away in the new development of West Village, I was pleasantly surprised. I've dined at Nobu, Steel, and the other high end sushi bars and The Fish ranks up there with the others. Best Sushi Chefs Ever!!! – Dined at The Fish the other weekend and had a great time at the sushi bar. The sushi chef were really helpful with my order. Towards the end, I just let them order the food for me and they made sushi experience fabulous.They even prepared sushi that wasn't even on the menu. Next time I'll just have the chef prepare everything without a menu. If you want a great meal, EAT AT THE SUSHI BAR!!!
Average at best is an understatement. – To be frank, I would be upset to be the owner of the restaurant and if I were the owner I would definitely do some closet cleaning from the service to management. My glass was cracked and the GM looked at me and simply said "It happens." I felt disillusioned by how cold he was towards the situation.
