We sat down for lunch at 15:40. We changed our table to an ocean view at 15:45. At that time we were told that the lunch menu was no longer available. Common sense would tell you that they should have said that you only have five minutes to order as the menu would change. Very terrible service! Will come back with a review on food.
Our waitress Gigi was amazing. Loved our meal. And dessert was lemon mousse
Try the Macadamia Halibut. It was so fresh and prepared beautifully.

We have dined at The Fish Hopper several times over the years & have loved just about every single visit... but unfortunately tonight's meal (which happened to be my birthday dinner!!) was tainted by horrendous service!! Apparently our server needs to be re-trained in certain aspects of her job... Fantastic! Came to cannery row with my mother- she was after a nice fish dish and I am vegan. Asked at the front if they had a vegan dish, was told there wasn't one on the menu, HOWEVER the head chef was there and said he would make me a fantastic dish. And man did he deliver: a HUGE dish with grilled veggies- broccoli I, asparagus, carrots, red bell pepper, artichoke, bok choy, yellow and green summer squash, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, carrots, portabella mushroom, and some beans. Great food, great vibe, great view. Will visit again! I had the ahi tuna salad. It included mango, papaya, avocado and coconut prawns. I aslo had a cup of their clam chowder. My meal was simply wonderful.
Overpriced: street food for a restaurant price
Not too fond of the clam chowder bowl should of went to the other place before here
