You are way over priced. $16.00 for a bowl of chowder. We certainly won't be coming back here. To many nicer restaurants in the Monterey area to get a reasonable priced bowl of clam chowder.
We had the most enjoyable Christmas Day dinner with our family. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the awesome service and great food. We have already decided that we would like to make this a family tradition to eat there every year. We will for sure be back during the year as well. We just couldn't stop talking about it!

Let's face it, good seafood can be expensive. With that in mind, just know that you will be getting great quality food at the Fish Hopper and at fair market prices. The staff are very friendly, the views are great, and the food is really good. Book your table now!
We had a wonderful 1st experience. Great service. Yummy food. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Monterey!
Yelp said they were dog friendly, but when we got there, they said Service Dogs only. They have tables outside on the side patio.....oh well, we went to the Wharf and had a geat meal at Domenico's!! We sat indoors, by a fireplace and our dog got her own meal prepared. Thanks for saving the day Domenico's!!!!
Went there for lunch with my wife while on vacation and the experience was great! Fast and friendly service, unbeatable views of the water, and fantastic clam chowder with lumps of crab meat. The food was nicely presented and very delicious! Highly recommend.

Around 12:40, lunch time my husband and I were excited to finally dine at the fish hopper. My husband and I walked in and specified to an older man that 3 adults were dining with a 2 yr old and we were just waiting for them because they had to park. Anyways, that older man told us that we have to wait until all the parties are present and sent us back.
