I'm just now getting around to this 18 years later. But, we ate here on our honeymoon back in 1999. We visited Monterey after spending a few days in the Bay Area. Wonderful meal. It was my first experience with Cioppino. Had a great view for our first nice meal as newlyweds.
AS ALWAYS! Great service, great food and wine, great views.
The clam chowder was full of flour and way to thick, but the atmosphere was beautiful and by the water.
Had dinner here with 11 friends and I was very happy with the service. We were not an easy crowd to please but they succeeded in doing so. The food was served all at once and every dish was correct. The flavor of the food was on point, we really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas and the cocktails were also well made. All the way around good time and I will go back again.
This place is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic, service is amazing. They made our anniversary special. �
Sadly the worst experience on or family trip. The hostess didn't tell us that for a party of 9 you can't sit together. Even though our party had 2 kids a 4yo and a 2yo. They count the kids. Got the impression they aren't family friendly. The place wasnt even busy. They were rude too. They should have at least told us the policy when we came in. They won't push tables together. So not customer centric. The food looked good from what I saw. Sadly we couldn't have it and spent our money elsewhere. Great food and great service @... read more
Food and service was wonderful I will definately eat there over and over again
Tara loved the Clam Chowder, said it was the best she’s ever had! My fish and chips were good but a bit pricey. The service however was second to none. Manny was hopping to keep us happy! Overall we were very pleased.
I loved the bartenders they were great! And the was delicious!
