Best Clam Chowder I’ve ever had and the service was top notch.
We tried to get a table with a view on a Wednesday at 3 p.m. There was literally one other family in the dining room, the place was empty. They sat us directly next to the family, and when our waiter came over to check on them, he brought us bread from their table that "they didn't want." This did not strike me as particularly hygienic, and I'm pretty sure it's against health codes to serve leftovers to patrons. My SO and I were staying at Spindrift Inn. We could see The Fish Hopper from the rooftop. We decided to walk over and have dinner and drinks. Although the view was beautiful, the service and food were second rate. We ordered Coconut Prawns, Calamari, and drinks to start. The wait seemed a little excessive for the appetizers but we were still enjoying the company and view. When they finally arrived, they seemed to have sat under the heat lamps for way too long.
