RecommendedThe Fish Hopper is a special place for my husband and myself. It has always been so accommodating and the food and drinks are so good! The staff has been more then helpful and great service! Today our waiter, Hugo, was fantastic and we really enjoyed our lunch and service! Thank-You Hugo - ❤️.
You know your in trouble when a place is 7/8ths empty on a Sunday night at 730 PM and the menu has little photos of the drink’s in it. The waitress was entirely clueless about the menu. Could not explain the “Out of the Hopper Section” at all. The Abalone that we got served was about half the size she indicated. Inedible “clam” chowder with the consistency of library paste and difficult to actually locate a clam in it. Steak was grade F beef. Tough and grissly. We will not be back.

RecommendedWe went to the Fish Hopper for clam chowder, again. It’s very tasty with fresh ingredients. Our drink was refilled without us asking and the servers are very nice. It’s become our “go-to” place when in Monterey.
