Amazing service, amazing food - if you can get here .... Just go....
Friend and I were here to celebrate. Had a wonderful waitress, Megan. Thanks for a delicious meal. Sorry ate, and didn't take picture.
Our food was good the service was great but the atmosphere is too noisy (and we were there for lunch). A little absorbing acoustics would help out w/ dinner conversation.
The decor was fantastic. I especially liked the presentation of our food.
Service at the bar was poor. Second time there with lousy service. Won't go back. Too many other good restaurants to go to. It's a shame, we loved the roadhouse.

LOVE this place!! Food and service are excellent!
We went here for Mother's Day lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised as one who tends to avoid restaurants on the busy holidays when I suspect service will suffer. This was not the case here and service was impeccable, staff very friendly, and food excellent. Also need to mention the restaurant itself is gorgeous! We will return for sure!
PSA : friends that haven't been to the First Post in York MUST try it. It is absolutely amazing. Excellent service, EXCELLENT food. Well, well worth the price, fine dining with sizable portions... Ahhh my mouth is still watering. Greg and I are going to make a it monthly date night. It blows anything I've had in the Harrisburg area out of the water. The bar has been elevated for sure . Foodies and non Foodies alike will love First Post.
that's beautiful romantic place for couples and family, great service, great food,we been many places in York and around york,this one is our favorite.
