We stayed at the Sydney Penthouse Apartment.This apartment is beautifully located - very close to Salamanca and Battery Point - but there is hardly any external noise and the surroundings are relatively flat for walking around Hobart. If wishing to stay here do try to book your stay to include Sunday morning - when the harbour comes alive with many boats on the harbour. Great location and superb views, the Sydney penthouse immediately impressed on entry. The large kitchen/dining/lounge room uninterruptedly looks directly out over the harbour. There are 2 bedrooms, one with the same spectacular outlook and the other without any windows at all? The lighting is underdone and the switchgear is overly complicated. My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Finish Line, Hobart. Amazing location, stunning view, everything we needed and more. Highly recommend.
This is by far the most aesthetically pleasing space we have ever rented. Great attention to detail in all of the finishes, state of the art technology/appliances and extra fun touches (like outdoor tub/see picture on site.) Hosts were very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay. The harbor views are amazing and the Battery Point area is superb with restaurants, shops and groceries/fresh seafood in walking distance.
