I was contacted by *********************, the Vise President of the ******* branch about a Refinance. worked with him for severalweeks he Kept promising it was going through, Told me not worry about my payments on all my bills Becuase he was paying everything off. I had everything he and the UW's wanted then was told some story and he could not do it, now all my bills are late, credit is shot, all because he makes promises he cant keep. this Bank is not good and can not keep the promises it makes

**** and the team were great to get us through the refi process and we were able to accomplish our goal. I was a little surprised at how much is charged for the VA loan fee so be sure to ask. It is a percentage of the value of the loan.
Condescending explanations of refinance transactions peppered with misinformation of actual monthly costs. Stop taking advantage of VA Loan holders with your less than transparent business practices. Zero stars.

The Mortgage Banker I worked with was a true professional who I'd surely recommend to whoever was in need of their services. This process could not have been any smoother. Maybe 30 days from start to finish for a VA-Refi? Not too shabby!
Wish I could give Zero stars-Federal Savings doesn't deserve any!! These people are Liars, ******************** Not one thing they told us was true!! We were told the loan would be funded before the 1st of May-NOT; that Federal Savings carry their own paper on loans & very rarely if never sell/transfer loans-NOT (got notice today our loan has been transfer before the 1st payment is even due); told refinancing was a better option than 2nd or HELOC-NOT (now we are stuck with a $4000 payment for 30 years on a retirement income)... read more

I only wish I had found The Federal Savings Bank (TFSB) earlier. In the last 13 years, I've purchased two homes and refinanced with another veteran-focused mortgage company twice. I never shopped. When I started a refinance with TFSB, I felt I should give the second mortgage company an opportunity to compete.
